Stockton Rappers Face Federal Gun Charges Linked to Bay Area Shooting

Two well-known rappers from Stockton are now facing serious federal charges tied to a firearm connected to a Bay Area shooting.

Jaymani “EBK Jaaybo” Gorman, 22, and Xavier “Baby Maxx” Jones, 19, were indicted on multiple federal counts after authorities say they were found with a loaded Glock during a May 2025 traffic stop in Arkansas. Though the indictment was filed in June 2025, it was only recently unsealed. Both remain in custody as the case moves forward.

Investigators later linked the firearm to a nonfatal shooting involving San Francisco rapper Jarico “DreamllifeRizzy” Anderson. The incident occurred in Oakland, where Anderson was shot in both legs while driving on Highway 24. He survived and was treated at a local hospital.

Authorities say the shooting may be connected to an ongoing feud between rival groups, with both Stockton-based EBK and San Francisco’s Double Rock gang allegedly involved. Law enforcement has also been monitoring social media activity tied to the case.

The investigation remains ongoing, with additional evidence — including DNA testing — being pursued by authorities.
