CALIFORNIA- Larry Elder’s visit to a homeless encampment in Venice, California turned violent today.
Elder’s tour ended abruptly as threats, eggs and fists were being hurled by an angry pro-Governor Newsom crowd wearing masks and proclaiming, “Democrats run everything”.
209 Times has reached out to to both Larry Elder’s and Governor Newsom’s campaign for comment.

The Recall election is September 14th to decide if Gavin Newsom will remain. Elder is the top contender to replace him.
