THE HUNTED BECOMES HUNTER
Los Angeles- Police say a man in his 50’s shot and killed a man who was attempting to rob him; with his own gun. The homicide occurred just after midnight this Saturday December 11th morning in Exposition Park on W 35th Place by Normandie Ave.
The victim was allegedly part of a group of three men said to be in their 20’s who approached the older man to rob him. During the robbery
a struggle occurred when the older man refused to comply causing the attempted robber to drop his weapon. The older man reportedly then picked up the gun and shot the robber, killing him.
Police are now looking for the other two attempted robbery suspects who they say were also armed with guns, but jumped in their car and took off.
The man who was being and robbed and killed his would be robber is not being charged with any crime as it appears to be a clear case of self defense according to law enforcement.
