STOCKTON RAPPER “BABY MAXX” OPTS FOR TRIAL IN FEDERAL CASE

Stockton rapper Baby Maxx has withdrawn from a previously expected guilty plea in a federal case and is now set to proceed to trial this summer alongside fellow Stockton rapper “EBK Jaaybo”.

EBK Jaaybo (Jaymani Gorman) was arrested by Arkansas State Police and booked into the Pope County Detention Center. He faces charges including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, theft by receiving, and criminal use of a prohibited weapon.
Baby Maxx (Xavier Jones) was charged alongside EBK Jaaybo in a federal case involving multiple gun related offenses. Authorities say the charges stem from a May 2025 traffic stop where they were allegedly found with a loaded Glock pistol later linked to a shooting investigation.

According to court updates, Baby Maxx’s attorney stated that the artist attempted to dismiss legal counsel, describing the attorney-client relationship as strained and deteriorated.

Prosecutors are expected to present extensive gang related evidence and witness testimony as part of their case, alleging the two rappers were involved in criminal activity during a cross state trip from Arkansas en route to Atlanta.
The trial is scheduled to take place this summer.
