NEW YORK- The New York Times has published a behind the scenes look at the fight against coronavirus in New York. An emergency room doctor in Elmhurst, New York explains how they are being overwhelmed. Prior to the pandemic they averaged 200 patients in the emergency room per day. Now they have 400 with many coming in for unrelated issues and testing positive for COVID-19. New York has 30,811 confirmed cases as of yesterday, a 20% increase in one day from Tuesday.
