15 Yr Old Arrested in Hale Rd Homicide of Juvenile.
Per Lodi PD:
“Throughout the investigation, LPD Detectives identified the homicide suspect as a 15 year old juvenile from Delhi, CA. He was arrested on 12/8/23 and booked into Peterson Juvenile Hall for murder. Our investigations team also identified a co-conspirator of the shooting as Alberto Valentin (age 30 of Lodi).
Today, detectives and patrol officers served a search warrant at Valentin’s residence. While at the residence, detectives learned that Valentin was in Tracy and coordinated with CHP, Tracy PD, and San Joaquin County Sheriffs to locate him and his vehicle. SJSO apprehended Valentin on Waterloo Road near Highway 99 without incident. A search of his vehicle revealed a firearm. Valentin was booked into San Joaquin County Jail for homicide, weapons violations, and gang enhancements.

On 11/25/23 at approximately 11:15 PM, LPD responded to the 600 block of Hale Road on a report of a shooting that just occurred. Officers arrived on-scene and located a juvenile male suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Based upon our investigation, this appears to be a targeted incident. We are following up all leads in an effort to identify the suspect. This remains an active investigation.
