UPDATE: This is now a homicide case.
LODI- On February 27th shortly after 10PM, Lodi officers responded to a shooting call on the 200 block of E Vine Street near Stockton Street. A 34 year old male victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The Lodi Police Department has released the following statement seeking the public’s help:
“Upon initial investigation, this does not appear to be a random shooting; however the motive is still under investigation.
