Man Shot in Face at Lodi Costco Parking Lot

LODI- Yesterday shortly after noon Lodi Police officers responded to the 2600 block of Reynolds Ranch Parkway after calls of shots being fired in the Costco parking lot.

“Initial reports indicated that two males were in an argument in the parking lot. During the argument one of the males pulled out a handgun and shot the other male. Both males fled the parking lot in separate vehicles. The victim, a 19 year old male, drove himself to the hospital, where he was found to have suffered a gunshot wound to the face. The victim is currently in critical condition at a local hospital. The suspect, possibly a Hispanic male, in his late teens, early 20’s, with short facial hair, fled the scene in a silver or gray newer model sedan. The crime scene was processed and canvassed for witnesses and surveillance footage.

At this time the motive for the shooting is still under investigation and LPD is asking anyone with information or video footage of the shooting to contact LPD at 209-333-6727 or Detective Hitchcock at 209-333-6871.
