Election Charges Filed Against Gurminder “Gary” Singh and Matthew Alexander

Per San Joaquin DA:

“The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office announces that misdemeanor election charges have been filed against Gurminder “Gary” Singh and Matthew Alexander, who were served notices to appear in the San Joaquin County Superior Court. Following an investigation into election-related offenses occurring between August 12 and August 31, 2026, both individuals face two misdemeanor counts:

Count 1: Offering payment or consideration to vote or register to vote (CA Elections Code § 18107.5).

Count 2: Offering payment or consideration to vote for a particular person or measure (CA Elections Code § 18522).

Their initial court appearance is scheduled for October 16 at 1:30 PM in Department M2.
