Mass Stabbing in Atwater

Isidro Chavez Gonzalez, 38 years old, was arrested after attacking four strangers Wednesday along Atwater Boulevard near First and Second Street just after 11am.

For reasons unknown, Gonzalez, began stabbing people with a “sickle” as they waited at a bus stop. According to reports he attacked two men as everyone scattered away, except for a person with a walker who was attacked. Gonzalez then assaulted a defenseless woman in the middle of the street, stabbing her multiple times.

During this attack, multiple witnesses were present. Gonzalez then attempted to flee the scene, finding another victim whose vehicle he carjacked after stabbing them.

Police were called and pursued the monster until crashed and was apprehended. All four of the stabbing victims were airlifted by helicopter to the hospitals as multiple agencies responded.

Information on the victims incline their identities and conditions have not been released. No motive for the unprovoked attacks have been stated.
