Suspected Murderer of Mother and Child, Arrested

We have confirmed with relatives of the victims that Julio Ceasar Valdez, a resident of Stockton, has been arrested and will be extradited back to San Joaquin County to face charges in the murders of Alicia Montejano and her 17 year old son, Reuel Huerta.

A rewards of $35,000 was being offered for his capture in the double murder before Christmas Eve in what was believed to be a domestic violence incident.

He was reportedly arrested in Tijuana, Mexico where he is said to have relatives. That claim has not yet been confirmed.
