SAN JOAQUIN – Multiple law enforcement agencies from San Joaquin County including Lathrop Police Services, San Joaquin County Sheriff Deputies, the Manteca Police Department Officers and SJC Parole Officers conducted a weeklong prostitution sting resulting in the arrests of 24 persons soliciting sex with adults and minors.
Lathrop Police Services released the following statement:
“The operation utilized multiple social media sites. Detectives posed as decoys and informed individuals that they were under the age of 14. The men pictured below, arranged to meet the decoy minor for a sexual act. Some sent inappropriate photos, one brought a possible controlled substance and one even brought a gun”.
