FRENCH CAMP- Per San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office:
“In-Custody Inmate Death at San Joaquin County Honor Farm
Yesterday, June 24, 2021, during the 10:00 pm formal count at the San Joaquin County Honor Farm, an inmate was found down with obvious injuries. Custodial Officers rendered immediate aid and medics responded. The inmate was declared dead at the scene.
The death is currently being investigated as an incident of inmate-on-inmate violence and the investigation is ongoing.
The name of the Hispanic male victim is being withheld at this time, while family is notified.
We will be holding a Press Conference today at 11:30 am, where Sheriff Withrow will be releasing additional information. This will be live-streamed on our social media pages.”
