Sideshow Task Force Tows 62 Vehicles In 10 Hours

On Saturday May 2, on day two of the Spring Time Sideshow Operation, 60 vehicles and two motorcycles were towed in 10 hours during enhanced enforcement operations across San Joaquin County.

This task force operation is ongoing and enforcement will continue according to San Joaquin Sheriff Pat Withrow.

The Sheriff’s Office released the following statement:
“This is your reminder: do not come to San Joaquin County to participate in illegal sideshow activity or any other criminal behavior. These events are dangerous, disruptive, and will not be tolerated.
If you choose to take part, expect enforcement.
Thank you to the Stockton Police Department for leading this task force operation, along with our partners at the Lathrop Police Department, Lodi Police Department, Manteca Police Department, Escalon Police Department, and San Joaquin County Probation.

Our number one priority is, and always will be, the safety of our community.” #stockton #lodi #lathrop #manteca #tracy
