3 Shot at Softball Game, No Arrests Made

Witnesses say an argument over a call at a recreational softball game at Louis Park led to a shooting that injured three individuals late Friday night. Stockton Police have released the following statement:

“Tonight, at 9:22 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of Monte Diablo Avenue (Louis Park Softball Complex) on a report of a shooting during a softball game. When first responders arrived, they located two men who were shot. Both men were transported to the hospital for treatment of what appears to be non-life threatening injuries. A third man, who was shot, refused medical treatment and left the scene. The motive of the shooting is unknown and no arrests have been made. This remains an active investigation.
