3 Shot in Stockton, 1 Killed

STOCKTON- Another violent day occurred in the city continuing a wave of violence two months long now. In three separate shootings from the morning to night, three were injured by gunfire with one person killed. The 1st shooting occurred in the morning around 9am on the 2100 block of Fontana Ave. Arrested was 18 year old Davin Duran.

Then at 8:53 pm, Police Officers were called to San Joaquin Street and Sonora Street on a report of an adult male who had been shot. First responders administered CPR, but the victim did not survive. Police issued a statement:

“ At this time, there is no motive or releasable suspect information.

The Stockton Police Department is encouraging people to call if they have information pertaining to this investigation. After that near the same area around 10:20pm a man says he was driving home from work and after hearing gunshots, felt pain in his head. He realized he was shot and drove himself to the hospital. He was released after a treatment.
