5 Arrested, Cars Towed In Sideshow Crackdown

Per CHP:

“On March 7, 2026, CHP Stockton units, CHP K-9 Units, Special Investigators, and Air Operations partnered with the Stockton Police Department and the Manteca Police Department for a targeted sideshow enforcement operation. Thanks to proactive, zero-tolerance enforcement and a strong visual presence, attempts to occupy intersections for sideshow activities were stopped before they could begin. Overall, a clear message was sent; sideshow activities and dangerous behaviors will not be tolerated.

The efforts resulted in:

  • Enforcement Contacts: 124
  • Citations: 62
  • Arrests: 5
  • Recovered Stolen Vehicles: 1
  • Seized Narcotics: 6 kilograms of cocaine
  • Vehicle Impounds: 14
  • Vehicle Inspections: 15
