Disgraced Former School Board Trustee, Ashley Hampton, Who Was Convicted of 11 Felonies, “Stands With Angelann”
STOCKTON- In another bizarre, but expected twist, Ashley Hampton who is also now using the alias Ashley Barnett, has taken to social media to “stand” with her bestie, Angelann Flores who has been arrested on four felony charges including theft of public funds from Stockton Unified School District, and insurance fraud. The old adage “birds of a feather flock together” certainly seems to apply in this case.
In 2018 Ashley Hampton, who was known as Ashley Drain, was convicted on 11 felonies including Welfare fraud and Election fraud. She was forced to resign as a School Board Trustee as well.
The District Attorney who charged her, while parading her all over the news, was Tori Verber, who lost her re-election to her subordinate Ron Freitas after the public was educated on her abysmal performance as DA by 209 Times. Now Tori is putting out a statement somehow blaming us for leading some grand conspiracy as “a local media group”. We would like to go on record to confirm that NO we did not force Angelann to buy those beef tacos as Carls Jr in Lathrop at almost midnight using a SUSD credit card to satisfy her munchies. Not did we force her to use the SUSD card as her personal gas card when SUSD has a mileage reimbursement policy. In fact after we exposed what she was doing, she was so arrogant as “the president of SUSD” that she continued to do so like she was above the law. So, no Tori we also did t tell her to submit a false insurance claim, which we didn’t know about.
While defending her bestie, Ashley has even taken to insulting Angelann’s own daughter (who publicly came out alleging violent child abuse at the hands of Angelann). Ashley didn’t stand with that child, but wants the public to believe Flores “stands for the children.” She also took to insulting the gendered “energy” of the DA and Sheriff apparently, while also stating that going to jail was a “right of passage.” Sure it is Ashley. Except she didn’t have to go to jail. The judge only gave her community service out of consideration for her own children.
