STOCKTON- The CHP has confirmed that a man was found dead in his car, killed in a shooting on the Interstate 5 transition to the Crosstown Freeway Tuesday night around 9:30pm.
Officers found a car crashed up against the freeway barrier. The driver is only being described as a Hispanic man in his early to mid-20s. The section of the freeway was shut down til 3am. No other details have been released at this time. This is the 21st homicide of Stockton this year, a 62% increase from the same time last year.
