STOCKTON- On Monday April 27th a man was caught on camera robbing the Big Valley Food grocery store on Mount Diablo at gun point. He can be seen walking in to the store wearing a medical mask many are using to minimize the chances of catching COVID-19. As the statewide Shelter In Place order changes, many stores and counties are requiring people to wear masks in public. While this robber used the situation to take advantage of it by using the mask to hide his identity, he did not wear it properly the entire duration of the robbery, revealing his face as a result. It is not known if the culprit is part of mayor Tubbs’ Cash for Criminals program that pays suspected shooters a monthly stipend for attending meetings and creating a “life map” as they do not reveal the identities of their “fellows” nor do they communicate with police even if they are aware of crimes committed by their participants. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the robber who robbed “essential” workers risking their health during the coronavirus pandemic at gunpoint or if they have any information to call Stockton police ASAP; case number 20-16176.

  1. “It is not known if the culprit is part of mayor Tubbs’ Cash for Criminals program that pays suspected shooters a monthly stipend for attending meetings”. Really, it’s neccessary to politicize a crime news piece to suit the petty, partisan need to get your pitiful message out?

  2. This article says that people will be required to wear a mask prior to entering into the store I just want to make sure y’all know that this blues in mass that y’all are wearing does not prevent you from getting coded it’s basically a stage one mask which means it covers your cough and prevent others to get any illness that you might have but it doesn’t protect you from covid 19
