Parent Comes Forward to Corroborate Gun Incident SUSD Tried to Cover Up, Claims Man Put Gun to Student’s Head, Multiple Children Threatened

STOCKTON- After our story about a possible gun incident at Hoover Elementary, which SUSD Superintendent Michelle Rodriguez and her board of trustees are refusing to answer to, the parent of the student involved has come forward.

According to Victoria Morales, the mother of the 12 year old child, on Dec 12, 2024 an adult male made threats to kill her son and named several other students by name. None of whose parents have been notified!

The suspect also allegedly threatened to kill police and shoot up Hoover Elementary according to the statement the child made to SUSD.  

The assault was reportedly prompted by the suspect being upset his son was being bullied by several children and school officials were doing nothing to stop it. He then allegedly showed up and assaulted one of the boys by slamming him against a fence placing a gun to his head, in front of his bullied child. A picture showing a red mark on his temple she believes was left from the gun being placed against his head.

According to the mother, no one from SUSD has reached out to her other than to send her a truancy letter after she’s refused to send him back to school for a month. She is even moving out of town to a homeless shelter and refuses to let her son leave his apartment since the alleged assault.

SUSD Police refuse to answer her questions as to the status of their investigation after they invited her son to pick out the suspect in a photo lineup.  

Numerous employees have told us that the mother’s story is not only true, but that Superintendent Michelle Rodriguez instructed SUSD Police Chief Mayra Franco, Principal Charlene Mah and Public Information Officer Melinda Meza not to notify parents or the public that a man has threatened to murder both students and police in fear that it would affect their attendance rate and her public image.

Superintendent Rodriguez is refusing to answer any questions about this.
