Stockton Circus Update: Mayor Fugazi Moves On Jason Lee While Protecting Brando Villapudua

The next city council meeting promises to be yet another 3 ring circus with clowns all around. 🤡 🎪

The ring leader, Mayor Christina Fugazi will have the city council vote on removing her own vice mayor, Jason Lee, as vice mayor. She initially appointed him after they were both elected in 2024.

Jason Lee, a street kid from Stockton who grew up to be a reality TV celebrity blogger turned businessman and politician, is known for being controversial and outspoken. Those traits did not disappear when he was elected to the council. Often times he’s been criticized for his comments and commutation style during meetings and online. This has been the case the entire time he’s been vice mayor. And yet, Fugazi did nothing about it, even when some of Lee’s public comments towards her crossed the line.

When associates of Lee such as Gabby Gonzalez and Pat Barret made a circus of city hall, Fugazi did nothing and allowed it to continue.

Yet, now that Lee has discovered something of major relevance as the chair of the audit committee, which appears involve her close friend Anthony Silva, now she is reportedly planning on removing him as vice mayor at the last minute. For two years she sat on her hands, now she’s taking direct action with 2 months to go as him serving in that role? The timing deserves scrutiny and answers.

Even worse, to compare apples to apples, while moving on Jason Lee, Fugazi is simultaneously protecting the most disruptive Councilmember of them all- Brando Villapudua.

Despite our several inquiries to her, she is refusing to answer multiple questions about Villapudua’s consistent conduct that greatly outweighs Lee’s. And includes two recent criminal complaints to police accusing Brando of s*xual assault from two separate women who do not know each other. When asked, Fugazi told us there was “no action to take,” appearing to suggest the police reports from her own department weren’t real and were just “rumors.” We confined with Stockton PD they are in fact REAL.

If she’s going to hold Lee accountable, why is she protecting Brando?!
