STOCKTON- The Police Department announced today that one of their employees tested positive for COVID-19.
In a press release the department states:
“The employee is a Neighborhood Services employee who performs code enforcement activities and is not a sworn police officer. The employee is now isolated at home and recovering. As standard procedure, a thorough cleaning and disinfecting of the employee’s work area has taken place. We also learned the employee had no community exposures for the week prior to becoming symptomatic. At this point, no other personnel from our Neighborhood Services Section have experienced symptoms or been isolated due to a confirmed COVID-19 case. We would like to thank everyone for understanding that the health and safety of our employees will continue to be a top priority during this unprecedented time”.
