Stockton Task Force Makes 492 Arrests In Just Months

The Stockton Police Department is highlighting results from several local, state and federal law enforcement partnerships during the first six months of 2026.

SPD says working with outside agencies allows investigators to combine personnel, intelligence and resources to address narcotics, gun crime, auto theft and wanted suspects.

From January through June 2026, SPD reported:

San Joaquin County Metro Narcotics Task Force

• 80 arrests

• 105 firearms seized

• 250 lbs. of methamphetamine

• 1.5 million methamphetamine pills

• 4 lbs. of fentanyl

• 12,500 fentanyl pills

• 90 lbs. of cocaine

• 100,000 ecstasy pills

• 220 lbs. of marijuana

• 10,000 marijuana plants

Delta Regional Auto Theft Task Force

• 236 arrests

• 141 search warrants

• 377 stolen vehicles recovered

FBI

• 61 arrests

• 55 warrants

• 54 guns seized

ATF

• 10 arrests

• 15 residential search warrants

• 20 guns seized

U.S. Marshals

• 105 arrests

• 29 warrants

• 9 guns seized

SPD says the results demonstrate the importance of partnerships between local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in addressing crime affecting Stockton residents.
