STOCKTON- Last night shots rang out during an altercation at the Sherwood Mall that left a 17 year old Stagg High Student named Anthony dead and an 18 year old shot and recovering in the hospital. The shooting happened around 8:40pm.
According to Stockton Police, “When officers arrived, they located two possible teenage males who had been shot. One victim was unfortunately pronounced deceased at the scene by medics and the other victim has been transported to an area hospital. At this time, there is no information on the suspect(s). Detectives have been called in for the investigation”.
Police have not announced any suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance:

Now a video, submitted to us by a Lamar Scott, a community member who works to provide youth with positive activities in the city, has emerged showing the moment shots rang out although it is unclear who the shooter is in the video.

Mall official should not let any under age teens that are not accompanied by adults neather inside stores or parking lot, this way one can do their shopping safe and without fear of being shat at. My most sincere condolences to the families of that teen whose life was terminated
