MODESTO- Police are investigating a triple shooting on the 100 block of Lita Court near Crows Landing. They received a call at 2:34pm this afternoon and arrived to find three victims with one deceased. They’ve released the following statement of their preliminary investigation:
“The preliminary investigation suggests there was an argument in the court. The argument escalated and gunfire erupted. Three individuals were struck by gunfire, and transported to area hospitals. One of the victims succumbed to their injuries.
Homicide detectives and crime scene technicians are currently processing the scene and obtaining statements. At this point in the investigation, the names of the victims are not being released.
