Early this morning at 4:05 am on the 3000 block of Monte Diablo Avenue bear Louis Park, a person shot and killed. Police officers arrived shortly after and homicide detectives were called out. SPD has no motive or releasable suspect information to report as of this time. This marks the 17th homicide in the city this year. At the end of April, Stockton has seen a 44.4% increase in homicides compared to the year prior.
