SACRAMENTO- Protests over the death of a man named George Floyd by a now former police officer in Minnesota have turned violent in over 30 cities across America also prompting a lockdown of the White House. In Sacramento where there is a long history of unrest between residents and the police department, protesters blocked traffic on Freeway I-5 For hours and are now attacking the Sacramento County jail along with other state buildings including the state library.
