Sacramento- During his state of the state speech today, Governor Newsom announced he will end the project known as California High Speed Rail (or “train to nowhere”) championed by Stockton state senator Cathleen Galgiani. However, he said the section from Merced to Bakersfield will be finished. This comes after years of delays and $5.4 billion already wasted.
