Modesto High School Student Tests Positive for Tuberculosis

MODESTO- Parents were notified yesterday and today the Stanislaus County Public Health Department confirmed that a student who attends Grace Davis High School has tested positive for tuberculosis. It is unknown how the student contracted tuberculosis, but official say they are being treated away from the school. While all parents of the school were sent letters only students in the shared classroom of the student afflicted are being tested for tuberculosis. Officials say there is no continued risk to other students.
