STOCKTON- Coach David Sanchez II took his handball team to Venice Beach to compete in the 3 wall Jr Nationals from 7/18-7/21. Jessica Duenas,13, competed in the 19U big ball singles. Elena Duenas competed in the 17U small ball singles, 19U big ball singles and Doubles. She Medaled in 19U bigball taking 3rd. Emily Sanchez competed in the 19U small ball singles, 19U big ball singles and doubles teaming with Elena. Emily medaled in 19U big ball singles taking 1st. Daniel Sanchez competed in the 11U small ball and big ball singles and 13U big ball doubles medaling in small ball singles taking 2nd place. David Sanchez III also competed in 17U big ball singles 19U small ball singles and 19U small ball doubles medaling in all 3 events taking 1st in 17U bigball singles 1st in 19U A small ball singles and 2nd in 19U small ball doubles. This is the first event they competed at as a team. They are planning to go to Tucson, Arizona next for the 4 wall jr Nationals December 26-30.
