KNIGHTS FERRY- First responders and family members of Maltilda Ortiz continued their search today for the five year old girl who fell in the swift moving Stanislaus River on Sunday March 17th.
The Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District’s Swift Water Rescue Team has been searching for Matilda using boats, drones, and an underwater camera.
In a statement released by them today they say, “This tragic event has touched so many people, including the first responders that searched and continue to search for her. Please continue to pray for the family, that we can bring some closure. Our hearts break for them and little Matilda”.
