7 Year Old Girl Murdered In Stockton, Suspect Arrested

STOCKTON- Police have reported the homicide of a 7 year old child and subsequent arrested the a man suspected of committing the murder.

SPD officers arrived at a residence in the 1300 block of Candlewood Way to conduct a welfare check at approximately 4:44am this morning.

According to police:

“The 7-year-old female victim was located and unresponsive. Medics responded and pronounced the child deceased at the scene. Detectives were called in and took over the investigation. Arrested was the child’s father, Billey Williams, 30, for homicide and assault on a child resulting in death.

This remains an active investigation.
