STOCKTON-According to SPD spokesman Joseph Silva, “There was a suspicious vehicle near Oakwood Elementary this morning. A caller reported seeing one of the occupants possibly armed with a firearm. Out of an abundance of caution both Oakwood Elementary and Bear Creek High School were placed on a brief lockdown. The lockdown has been lifted. Officers will remain in the area of both schools”.
It’s also been confirmed that Christa McAullife Middle School, Julia Morgan Elementary, and Podesta Elementary were also placed on lockdown and have been lifted.
