CHP Arrests Minor In Connection With Rocks Thrown At Cars On I-5

STOCKTON- The California Highway Patrol announced they have made an arrest of a suspect they believe was responsible for attacking motorists on I-5 NB near the March Lane exit. We reported multiple cases including the incident pictured when a rock smashed through the windshield injuring a woman who had young children in the back seat.

Per CHP:

“Public safety is of the utmost importance to Stockton CHP and therefore we enlisted the help of specialized CHP investigators. ‬

‪A thorough investigation was conducted and CHP has located and apprehended a potential suspect in the rock throwing incidents on I-5. CHP investigators apprehended a juvenile male near the area. Follow up investigation is ongoing, in order to determine if this suspect acted alone or if he is tied to the incident that hospitalized a female passenger days ago.‬
