Two Elderly, 69 and 76, Targeted In Separate Stockton Robberies

STOCKTON- Today according to Stockton PD’s Watch Commander Incident Report, two elderly residents were targeted in separate events including an attempted car jacking and strong arm robbery. Per SPD:

“Watch Commander’s Night Report – December 27, 2019

Attempted Carjacking (1100) Sutter Street and Alpine Avenue, Civic District

The male victim, 76, was stopped at the intersection when the suspect approached his vehicle and told the victim to get out of his vehicle. The victim refused and the suspect punched him several times. The victim was able to get away and drove himself to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds. SUSPECT: Hispanic male, 30.

Robbery (1602) 8000 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District

The male victim, 69, was backing out of a parking stall when his vehicle hit a pedestrian.  The victim went to check on the pedestrian and was surrounded by the suspects. The suspects took the victim’s property out of his hands then fled the area. SUSPECTS: 10-12 Black males, 17-20.”
