Family’s Car Shot Up After Leaving Mall in Tracy

TRACY- Police say a family was shot at multiple times after a verbal altercation that took place at the West Valley Mall.

Tracy PD has released the following statement:

“ACTIVE SHOOTING INVESTIGATION
Please re-share our post, we need your help!

The Tracy Police Department is currently investigating a reported shooting into a vehicle that occurred on November 27th near 7 p.m. This incident happened on Corral Hollow Rd. near Grant Line Rd., not at the West Valley Mall as has been reported by various sources.

It is believed there was a disagreement that occurred at the mall, just prior, which may have resulted in this shooting. Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries regarding this incident.

This is an active investigation and we strive to be transparent. We appreciate your patience with us, as we also need time to get accurate information that we can share with the public.
