Aaron Judge to Stay a Yankee
The American League MVP and Homerun king has agreed to stay with his team in New York for a nine year, $360 million contract. The free agent came to the agreement early this morning on Wednesday according to The Athletic.
Judge, who is from the 209- growing up in Linden and learning to play baseball in Stockton, did visit with the San Francisco Giants who were heavily recruiting him to return home to the west coast. Ultimately he stayed with his home team, instead returning to his hometown, after getting an offer he couldn’t refuse.
