STOCKTON- Rio Calaveras Elementary students won the national academic pentathlon, called Aca-Penta, for the third year in a row. It was held in Nashville, Tennessee May 16-18. Their teacher and Coach’s name is Jen Duren. She is an inspiration to them and it’s super obvious when you see them interact. It’s magic. Stockton could use about a thousand more of teachers like her. We all could. Congratulations!
