Stockton Police Investigating Double Homicide

STOCKTON- Police are investigating a double homicide that occurred last night shortly before 10pm. SPD has released the following statement:

“Last night, around 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a traffic hazard call in the area of Kansas St and Lever Blvd. A silver Nissan was running and facing the wrong direction. When officers arrived, they located two people in the front seat area of the vehicle who had been shot. A 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old female were unfortunately pronounced deceased at the scene by medics. Homicide detectives responded for the investigation. Currently, there is no motive or suspect information.

Police are also investigating a “suspicious death” that occurred and may be a possible third homicide that happened yesterday. If deemed a homicide that would be the ninth for September of 2020, which has already surpassed the total homicides for all of 2019.

Officers responded to the area to check on a person laying in the alley and located a 58-year-old man with blood on him. Medics pronounced the subject deceased at the scene and detectives were called out to assist with the investigation”.
