Former Student Arrested With Loaded Gun At Stagg Graduation

STOCKTON- Not only was the principal pulled off stage and escorted off campus by police, but a former student was arrested for having a loaded firearm at the ceremony.

SUSD has released the following statement:

“The Stockton unified Department of Public Safety makes an arrest during a graduation.

A former student tried to attend a graduation at Stagg High School. SUSD Public Safety says he was denied access because of strict COVID-19 guidelines. The male juvenile then went into the parking lot. An officer noticed a bulge in his clothing and placed him under arrest.

The juvenile is 17 years old and a former student.

SUSD Public Safety attends all graduations to keep students, families and the community safe”.
